Romantic and elegant B&B in a medieval castle in Aveyron, France
The owners of the Chateau de Lunac, Michel and Chantal Revalor, are ready to welcome you in their home. The castle is from fourteenth and eighteenth centuries. To the South it dominates a beautiful landscape of the Aveyron countryside, made of soft hills covered with meadows and traditional farms.
Recently restored, with oak floors, ceilings à la française, fireplaces in every room, furniture, it offers all the modern convenience of use.
From the first days of spring, we will benefit from the garden and the swimming pool will open from July.
Three rooms are available for rent:
The “Vital AUDIGUIER”(Lord and poet of the 16th century, familiar of the Queen Margot) fitted with a canopy bed 160/200 cm, fireplace, private bathroom with shower and independent toilet
The second "Timbered Room" with twin beds with canopy, fireplace, bathroom with jet shower and wooden bathtub (called “ballonge”).
The third room "Chambre d'Estelle" is slightly smaller but retains the same charm of the past and all private comfort.
Breakfast is served in the antique kitchen or on the terrace or in the sitting room, depending on the season.

The castle lays next to the 12th century church (historical monument). Two other small constructions are part of the castle: - the old bakehouse with its old stone oven and a smaller pastery oven - the "couvert", open air cover where the lord was giving justice (one of the few remaining) with its built-in well. Walks, guided hikes, swimming in the Viaur river, flea markets and antique shops, not to mention all the wonderful sites of Aveyron, stone roof buildings, 14th century bastides: all this is at hand in this blessed region. You should not forget to go to the village balls and banquets every week-ends of the summer, and the number of concerts and small festivals organised in historical places.
